The blog is simply a way for me to talk to you - whoever you may be - a friend or stranger. I'll be sharing some of my profound reflections and, sometimes, my lighter observation or questions. It's also a place where I hope to experiment with my writer's "voice."

This photo captures my hearth and my heart because this is my family at its best - goofing around at the beach. It didn't meet the cut for our annual Christmas picture, but it sure is publishable! So, here I am identified as more that an individual, but part of a larger context: my family.

The blog idea is an experiment, and a place to communicate - even if no one is listening.
